Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level II Nursery and Postpartum position in Colorado, requiring active CO or compact RN licensure and certifications in BLS, NRP, and ACLS.
Details
- Hospital-based Mother Baby unit covering antepartum, labor and delivery, recovery, postpartum, and Level II Nursery care
- Patient population includes antepartum patients, laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and well newborns through Level II Nursery acuity
- Rotating shift schedule
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in Colorado or from a valid compact state currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and ACLS
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
- Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs

- Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Delivers patient education to support informed healthcare choices and promote wellness
- Colorado CAPS (Child Abuse Prevention and Support) registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply promptly to allow processing time
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
