Requirements
- Active SD or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills

Additional Information
- Deliver and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process - assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and care teams
- Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and care
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge care
- Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff, including orientation and training of new team members

- Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred but not required
