Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg (Respiratory/3 West) day shift position in Zanesville, OH, requiring a minimum of 3 years of telemetry and/or stepdown experience and current Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Position is based on the 3 West Comprehensive Medical Unit, a med/surg adult setting
- Occasional floating between various Med/Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation
- Day shift schedule with every other weekend required
- No on-call or call responsibilities
- 36 hours per week
- Epic EMR — proficiency is required (not preferred)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience required
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry — competency will be tested on day one
- Demonstrated Epic EMR proficiency required — refresher training or 1:1 onboarding support will not be provided
Additional Information
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission to be honored
- Returning Genesis Healthcare travelers who worked there within the last 9 months may have flexibility on start date; all others must be available for the specified start
- Candidates who do not demonstrate telemetry competency or Epic proficiency upon arrival are subject to immediate termination
