Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift position requiring at least 1-2 years of experience and previous travel experience preferred.
Details
- Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week (3x12 or 4x12)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification required and must be in hand
- 1-2 years of RN experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred; first-time traveler eligibility should be confirmed prior to applying
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
