Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Med/Surg position at an acute care facility in Somerset, KY, requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience and AHA certifications.
Details
- 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region in south central Kentucky
- Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional unit
- Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
- May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
Requirements
- Active KY RN license or compact RN license required
- AHA certifications required prior to start date
- Minimum 1–2 years of acute care experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidate's permanent address must be 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Additional Information
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- The facility offers cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
