Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center, with Epic EMR experience required.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital with 379 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Medical/Surgical unit assignment with floating required between all facilities within the state
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 4 weekend shifts required per 6-week period
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR experience required
- Free surface parking available on-site
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Current BLS certification required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Previous Providence facility employment history (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must be disclosed
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Licensed nursing staff (RN, LVN) are required to wear solid navy blue scrubs; print tops are not acceptable
