Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active OR RN license.
Details
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Adult patient population focused on pre- and post-surgical care
- Floating to other departments may be required based on qualifications
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license required
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Initiates and maintains computerized Plans of Care for patients upon admission
- BSN or MSN preferred
- CMSRN certification preferred
- CRASE training preferred; required if assignment extends beyond 6 months
- Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to the position
