American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Medical-Surgical Unit position in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Work in the Surgical/Medical-Surgical unit of a hospital setting
- Adult patient population requiring pre- and post-surgical nursing care
- Night shift schedule: 1900–0730, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Floating to other departments may be required based on unit needs and qualifications
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
- BSN or MSN preferred
- Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams
- Nurses are expected to initiate computerized Plans of Care upon patient admission
- Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to the position
- If the assignment extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required
