Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg Tele position on a surgical/GI/oncology unit requiring TX or compact license and BLS certification.
Details
- Position is located on a 30-bed Surgical/GI/Oncology unit
- Care involves both medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Uses Epic charting system
- Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg Tele experience
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days of start
- Full US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must wear navy or maroon scrubs
- Direct patient care delivery in accordance with established protocols
- Responsible for coordinating interdisciplinary care and discharge planning
- Ability to work under stress with minimal supervision required
- Full driver’s license copy, two references, and license/certification documentation required
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rule, which varies by state
- COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
