Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with a current AL or compact license and at least 1 year of experience for a night shift hospital assignment.
Details
- Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Patient ratios of up to 1:6-7
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) based on traveler preference
- Block scheduling available
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience required
- Proficiency with cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Tele unit
- Must reside outside a 90-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
- No local candidates accepted
- Candidates with prior permanent employment at the facility within the last 10 years are not eligible
