Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position in New Hampshire, requiring a minimum of 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience and an active NH or Compact RN license.
Details
- Position is based in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool unit
- 12-hour rotating shifts, primarily nights with possible flex to days
- 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
- Floating may be required to affiliated hospital campuses in Laconia, NH and Franklin, NH
- No on-call requirements
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required — temp licenses are not accepted
- Current BLS certification required
- NH Stroke Scale (NHISS) certification required prior to start
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience required
- Critical Care RNs will be considered if they are experienced with Med/Surg patient ratios and acuity
- Resume must document 2 years of relevant specialty experience and any travel experience
- Driver's license with address matching submitted demographics required for consideration
- 3 professional references required upon commitment (2 must be from leadership — managers or charge RNs; no peers or coworkers)
Additional Information
- Dysrhythmia exam required during onboarding with a preferred passing score of 80%
- Weekly orientation provided
- Former permanent staff are eligible to return as travelers after a minimum 12-month break in service
- Candidates must submit RTO requests at the time of consideration
