Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring 2 years of experience and a valid IA or compact RN license.
Details
- Post-acute care setting within a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility unit
- 12-hour day shifts with rotating every other weekend and holiday coverage
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No on-call or call-back responsibilities
- Uses a computerized charting system other than standard EMR platforms
Requirements
- Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
- BSN required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting
- Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
- Holiday coverage required as part of the every-other-weekend rotation
- Local candidates accepted at an adjusted rate
- Must reside within an 80-mile radius or accept the local adjusted bill rate
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Two weeks' notice required for cancellation
