Description
American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Chemotherapy/Infusion RN in Eastern Montana requiring 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience and ONS certification.
Details
- Work in the Infusion area of a cancer care center providing outpatient chemotherapy services
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
- No holiday coverage required
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand
- 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification required
Additional Information
- Provide professional oncology nursing care as part of the cancer care team
- Assess patient health history and address physician orders
- Perform in-office procedures and chemotherapy administration
- Educate patients and families and manage cancer-related symptoms
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being through frequent visits
- Serve as primary communication link between patients and physicians
- Apply clinical judgment and decision-making to triage and manage patient care needs
