Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Hospice RN for an Admissions-focused position requiring OASIS and HCHB experience, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and on-call responsibilities.
Details
- Hospice setting focused on admissions nursing
- Geriatric patient population
- Caseload of approximately 5–7 patients per day (to be confirmed during interview)
- Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- On-call required on weekends; a triage team handles calls, so on-site visits are only required when clinically necessary
- Travel territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office — flexibility within this territory is expected
- EMR: HCHB experience required
- OASIS experience required
- iPad provided for use in the field
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospice RN experience required
- OASIS experience required
- HCHB EMR experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

- Admissions-focused role with responsibilities including timely documentation and communication
- Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
