Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a busy Birthing Pavilion, requiring recent L1 or comparable L2 trauma experience and availability for day/night rotating shifts.
Details
- Work in a Birthing Pavilion with 21 L&D rooms, a 2-bed triage room, and 2 operating rooms
- High-volume unit performing approximately 1,300 deliveries per year
- Day/night rotating shift schedule
- Nurse-to-patient ratios follow AWHONN staffing guidelines: 1:1 for active labor with Pitocin or intermittent monitoring, 1:2 for cervical ripening with Pitocin, 1:2 for high-risk drips including Magnesium Sulfate and Insulin, and 1:3 for Antepartum and Postpartum couplets
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience at a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma facility
- 2 manager references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
- ASAP start required — candidates who cannot start immediately will not be considered
