Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Interventional Radiology position requiring Epic EMR experience, NIHSS certification, and Neuro ICU background.
Details
- Neuro Interventional Radiology unit focused on endovascular patient care
- Procedures include angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatment
- 40 hours per week on 10-hour shifts
- Rotational call required, including weekend call on a rotational basis
- Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
- 16-week contract
- Charting via Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active and clear NY RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Neuro ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 years of experience in a Neuro IR lab preferred; radiology or IR/Cath Lab experience also preferred
- Resume must have no gaps in work history
- 2 professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year required for consideration
- Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
