Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level II Trauma, Magnet-status acute care hospital in Decatur, IL, with on-call requirements and a 4x10 day shift schedule.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a 372-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30–17:00)
- Every third weekend required
- On-call required: one night per week as primary and one night per week as secondary
- Floating within scope is required, including to nearby affiliate hospitals
- Charting performed in Cerner
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Illinois (IL) RN license required, or active IL license application with an ETA
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI AHA cards not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction
- Any current or former permanent or PRN employee of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler
- RTO of 5 days or fewer is pre-approvable; any additional time off requires facility approval
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Travel pairs are not accepted at this facility
- Solid-color scrubs required (any color)
- Free parking is available with a permit obtained during orientation
