Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Works in a hospital Emergency Department
- 11:00–23:30 shift (evenings)
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- Floating may be required within skill set to other units or to sister sites within 40 miles
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 3 years of ED experience required, or 5 years in a large ED if no prior travel experience is applicable
- Prior travel nursing experience required unless candidate has 5 years in a large ED setting
- Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and a US home address
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, renewed every 2 years; optional training available through crisispreventionmanagement.com or learnupon.com
