Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position at an acute care hospital, with experience caring for both adult and pediatric populations required.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a 233-bed acute care hospital in Colorado
- ED treats both adult and pediatric patients; comfort with both populations is required
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00β07:30)
- Every 3rd weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating outside of scope
- Charting via Epic; experience with Epic is required
- Free parking on-site
- Navy scrubs required
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or valid compact RN license required; must be in hand at time of consideration
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Experience with Glucostabilizer required
- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation
- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Travelers may work at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break is required before returning
- Local candidates (within 75 miles) are not eligible for this position
