Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a critical access hospital in Oregon, with float requirements to Med/Surg and night shift scheduling.
Details
- Work setting is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a Trauma Level 4 designation
- Emergency Department position with float responsibilities to Med/Surg as needed
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts)

Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of application at time of consideration (processing takes approximately 2 weeks)
- Oregon licensure fingerprinting must be completed through Fieldprint — physical fingerprints are not accepted by Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
- Required certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Additional Information
- Float coverage to Med/Surg is required when needed — candidates should be comfortable with this expectation
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and will not be approved after an offer is made
- Cannot request every holiday off — some holiday coverage is expected
- Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on operational needs
