Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 4 years of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience and a MO or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Catheterization unit of a hospital environment
- Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations
- Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
- Shift schedule of Monday through Thursday, 07:30-17:00
- On-call responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- ACLS certification required upon start and must be maintained
- Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work or in Critical Care required
- BSN preferred
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Communicates continuously with physicians regarding patient condition during procedures
- Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory, and assesses procedure room and equipment readiness
- Obtains supplies for individual cases to ensure all needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met
- Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
