Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN Case Manager for an acute care case management position in Apple Valley, CA, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of acute care case management experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting, Case Management unit
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
- Caseload ratio: 1:25 on weekdays, 1:45 on weekends
- Every other weekend required to meet department needs
- No floating within the unit; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required; pending license accepted if active by start date
- Minimum 2 years of acute care case management and/or discharge planning experience required; behavioral health experience does not satisfy this requirement
- Hospital-based experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Seasoned travelers only; first-time travelers will not be considered
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Business attire or scrubs are acceptable dress code
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
- Former permanent staff of the Providence health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
