Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Maysville, KY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in left/right heart catheterization, FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures.
Details
- Located in a 100-bed, acute care, Joint Commission accredited hospital in Maysville, KY
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit serving an adult patient population
- Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- On-call required every 3rd weekday and every 3rd weekend
- Weekend hours are per call
- No floating required
- MacLab is the EHR used in this unit (experience preferred)
Requirements
- Active RN license — KY state or compact license required
- Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued cards required)
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
- Proficiency in left/right heart catheterization (L/R HC), FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures
- Social Security number required for consideration
- Date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation is held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month
- Navy or royal blue scrubs required; open-toed footwear is not permitted
- MacLab EHR experience is preferred
- Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
