American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2 years of experience for a 15-week day shift contract requiring a Hawaii state license.

• Day shift schedule, 0630-1900, three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
• 15-week contract assignment
• No guarantee of hours
• Cares for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
• Utilizes computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac transport ventilator
• EPIC EMR used
• Holiday coverage required

• RRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS with NRP preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
• Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply upon offer acceptance
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required

• Provide continuous airway management and ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support
• Consult with physicians and perform CPR and all aspects of respiratory care
• Must arrive the Thursday before start date to attend an employee health appointment the following Friday
• Do not accept a start date if unable to arrive on time for this requirement
