Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a day shift position at a short-term acute care hospital in Tennessee.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 232 total staffed beds
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekend requirement
- Charting system: Paragon
- No on-call requirement
- No floating required
- Free parking on-site
Requirements
- Current TN or compact state license required (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- NRP preferred but not required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Nursery experience is preferred and would be beneficial to the department
- NRP certification is preferred for candidates with nursery background
- RTO requests are considered on a case-by-case basis
- Smoke-free campus
- Scrubs are provider's choice
- Tattoos below the neck are permitted; inappropriate tattoos must be covered
- Earrings in locations other than the ears must be removed
- Flu and COVID vaccination declinations are accepted on a case-by-case basis
