American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum position with required L&D experience and the ability to circulate for C-sections.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit providing care throughout the perinatal period
- Patient population includes laboring, postpartum, and OB triage patients
- Night shift position, 7:00pm to 7:00am, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Ability to circulate for C-sections is preferred
- Expected to participate in patient and family education and promote continuity of care
- Required to complete background check and drug screen using a specified vendor prior to start
- Must report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
- May be required to attend education programs based on identified learning needs
- Active RN license for North Carolina or a compact state
- At least 1 year of nursing experience
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NRP
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing
- Experience in Labor and Delivery required
- Ability to triage OB patients
- Ability to circulate for C-sections is preferred
