American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology Lab position in a pre and post care radiology setting, requiring 18 months of experience and an active GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Radiology Pre and Post Care Area within the Interventional Radiology Lab
- Day shift with 10-hour shifts
- No on-call responsibilities
- Work environment involves pre- and post-procedural care for radiology and interventional patients
- Responsibilities include providing nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures in the pre and post care area
- Returning travelers or permanent staff must have been separated for at least 12 months, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- Requests for time off (RTO) are limited to five days unless on or around a holiday, where a maximum of three days is allowed
- Only one holiday RTO request may be approved, and RTO must be spread out during the holiday period; multiple days in a row will not be approved
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 18 months of full-time experience in Interventional Radiology or similar acuity required
- Experience with cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular cases, is strongly preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
