American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Recovery Room position in Normal, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and a valid IL RN license.

• Recovery Room (PACU) setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Weekend shifts on a rotation basis
• Holiday shifts on a rotation basis

• Active IL RN license required (temporary license accepted)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Performs patient assessments upon admission, develops and continuously updates individualized plans of care
• Administers medications following the 5 Rights and maintains safety measures including fall precautions, pressure ulcer prevention, and isolation protocols
• Delegates tasks to healthcare technicians and validates completion throughout the shift
• Communicates and collaborates effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Manages time efficiently to facilitate timely admissions, discharges, and patient testing for Observation status patients
• RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
