Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II trauma acute care hospital, with 2 years of experience and ARRT certification required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in a Radiology/X-Ray unit
- Level II trauma center
- Epic EMR
- 12-hour evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM
- 2-week rotating block schedule: alternating between Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Radiology Technologist experience
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required
- State license required if applicable
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Radiation dosimetry badge must be provided by candidate or agency prior to start; facility does not supply one
- Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
- Travelers may not work within WVU Medicine for longer than one cumulative year before a 2-year break is required
- Two supervisor or peer references required for consideration, including one supervisor reference if the candidate worked a permanent position in the last 12 months
- Skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
- Candidates may only be submitted to one WVU facility at a time
- Any background hits must be disclosed upfront
