American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a surgery center setting, requiring ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of experience.

• Surgery center setting performing diagnostic radiographic examinations
• Assists radiologists and surgeons with fluoroscopic procedures using large C-arm and O-arm equipment
• Uses HIS and PACS computer systems for patient documentation
• Cares for patients across all age groups, from neonatal/infant through geriatric
• 4x10 day shift schedule
• 13-week assignment

• ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience preferred
• Active state license required if applicable
• Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Basic computer skills required, or ability to obtain within 90 days for online learning and documentation systems

• Perform radiographic exams according to facility protocols and verify patient/exam order consistency with clinical diagnosis
• Maintain collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and care team members
• Adhere to department policies, safety, radiation protection, infection control, and universal precautions standards
• Monitor and maintain supply inventory, keeping exam and dressing rooms stocked and organized
• Must maintain HIPAA compliance
• COVID-19 vaccination required
