Description
American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT-T certification and 2 years of experience for a Radiation Oncology department within an acute care hospital and regional health system.
Details
- Work in a Radiation Oncology department within an acute care hospital and regional health system
- Day shift schedule, generally 10:00–18:00 or 07:00/08:00–15:00/16:00, with hours varying based on patient appointments
- 5x8-hour shifts with no weekend requirements
- After-hours call required from 16:00–20:00 as needed
- Uses Elekta linear accelerators and ViewRay systems
- MOSAIQ used for treatment documentation
- EPIC EMR experience preferred; training provided during orientation
Requirements
- Active Michigan Radiation Therapist license required by start date (compact license not accepted in MI); license required if applicable
- ARRT-R and ARRT-T certifications required
- AHA certifications preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
- Level 1 Trauma setting experience required
- Experience with Elekta linear accelerators and ViewRay systems required
- Proficiency in MOSAIQ documentation required
- Proof of high school level education required regardless of higher education credentials
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for the safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments
- Pre-start modules required; content varies by specialty
- Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and should be verified through HR prior to consideration
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
- RTO must be submitted at time of profile submission and will not be approved after contract signing; maximum of 5 RTO days per assignment
