American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pre-Op/PACU position at a Critical Access Hospital in rural Vermont, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and on-call availability.

• Work in the Pre-Op and PACU departments of a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in rural Vermont
• Day shift schedule, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• On-call responsibilities are required for this position

• Active Vermont (VT) or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS/BCLS, PALS, and ACLS
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Experience in perioperative, Pre-Op, and/or PACU nursing required

• Mandatory attendance at department quarterly education sessions
• The facility is located in Newport, VT, a small town on the Canadian border in the Northeast Kingdom region
• Personal transportation is strongly recommended, as public transportation is not available in the area
• The area offers abundant outdoor recreation including hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling, with Jay Peak and Burke Mountain ski resorts nearby
