Description
American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for overnight weekend shifts, requiring RPSGT certification and at least 1 year of polysomnography experience.
Details
- Sleep center setting focused on diagnostic testing for sleep disturbances and neurological-related disorders
- Overnight shift: 6:30 PM β 7:00 AM, every weekend
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics, or respiratory therapy; or graduation from an AMA-approved college program in a related field
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification through the BRPT required
- Current, active Healthcare Provider BLS required
- Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) license required if applicable
- Active, unencumbered state licensure required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing and recording polysomnographic (PSG) and video data of sleep activity for diagnostic evaluation
- Administers sleep medications per facility policy
- Coordinates activities with the Sleep Lab Section leader/supervisor
- This facility strictly adheres to all posted job requirements and will not make exceptions for certifications, experience, or skills
