Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a rehab department, with experience across inpatient, outpatient, and/or home health settings.
Details
- Rehab department within a hospital setting
- Provides physical therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and/or home health settings
- Treatments include PT modalities such as ultrasound, NMES, and iontophoresis, as well as skilled techniques such as manual muscle testing and joint ROM measurements
- Monday through Friday, day shift with rotating weekend coverage
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current IL PT license required; license required if applicable
- Valid driver's license and proof of personal auto insurance required
- BLS required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively
- APTA membership preferred
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, and goal-setting in collaboration with patients, families, and the rehab team
- Supervises and directs Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and collaborates with other departments as needed
- Maintains accurate, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, monthly notes, and discharge summaries
- Participates in performance improvement activities and adheres to established safety procedures
