Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2 years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Critical Access Hospital, primarily serving outpatient cases with Cerner EMR.
Details
- Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
- Approximately 90% outpatient care and 10% inpatient care
- Tuesday through Saturday schedule, day shift from 0730–1630 with a one-hour lunch break
- Saturday shifts are inpatient only, typically requiring approximately 2.5 hours of work
- 8-hour shifts; every other weekend (EOW) required
- First to float policy applies
- Cerner EMR used in this position
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Active state PT license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable
- Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
- A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Dress code: solid color polo shirt with black pants
- 12-hour orientation included with the assignment
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates placed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
