American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1 year of experience for a 13-week outpatient clinic assignment in St. Robert, MO, utilizing Epic EMR in a 1:1 PT-to-patient setting.
Details- Hospital outpatient department located in St. Robert, MO, approximately 30 minutes from the main hospital campus, situated along I-44 between Springfield and St. Louis
- Patient population is primarily orthopedic, with additional cases including general deconditioning, neurological, and vestibular conditions
- 1:1 PT-to-patient ratio with all appointment slots scheduled at 45 minutes
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–4:45 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–3:30 PM; schedule is typically consistent but some flexibility is available
- Epic EMR used for all medical records documentation
- No weekend hours required; holidays on a rotating basis
- Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience in the relevant specialty
- Active Missouri PT license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Current BLS/CPR certification required; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documentation of scheduled renewal is provided
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
- No gaps in employment of 90 or more days within the past 12 months
- Flu vaccination is required for all travelers working between November 1 and April 1; exemptions must be client-approved
- Black scrubs or business casual attire is acceptable; Mercy-branded apparel is also welcomed
- Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after completion, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
