Description
American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Lancaster, SC.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a 100-bed hospital
- Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:30pm (negotiable), with one required weekend per month
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Free on-site parking available
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of prior inpatient physical therapy experience required
- Current SC PT license or Multi-State Compact PT license required at the start of the contract; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- SSN and driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted provided they have prior inpatient experience
- Dark grey scrubs required
- Online compliance modules must be completed prior to start date
- Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
- Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) may be considered on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
