American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital assignment with preferred experience in rehabilitation settings.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a PT unit
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current state PT license required; license required if applicable
- Two years of direct patient physical therapy care and treatment experience preferred
- Experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating functional needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and conducting therapy within defined standards of care
- Assesses and modifies treatment effectiveness on an ongoing basis, with regular documentation updates and discharge planning
- Communicates with patients, families, and caregivers to address educational and cultural needs to maximize care outcomes
- Coordinates and supervises therapy staff as part of the care team
