American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist in California for a 13-week contract requiring both inpatient and outpatient experience in a rapid response/crisis capacity.
Details- Rehabilitation therapy setting with both inpatient and outpatient workload, approximately 50/50 split
- Variable schedule including weekends
- 13-week contract assignment in California
- Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Both inpatient and outpatient OT experience required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
- Position is classified as Rapid Response/Crisis, indicating an urgent staffing need
- Clinicians must be familiar with Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs), including alarm management, patient restraints, infection prevention, two-step patient identification, medication labeling and calculation safety, and identifying safety and suicide risks
- Hospital orientation is paid in full
- Local candidates are accepted; no radius restriction is indicated for this position
- Housing in the area can be somewhat difficult to find, though several local options are available in King City and the nearby Greenfield area
