Description
American Traveler is hiring a Certified Hand Therapist (OT - Outpatient) with at least 1 year of experience for a university-affiliated orthopedic outpatient setting in Utah.

- Outpatient occupational therapy position within a university orthopedic center
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current OT license (Utah license required prior to start; pending Utah license accepted at time of consideration)
- NBCOT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience
- Proficiency in orthotics, modalities, manual therapies, and ADLs
- Skills in edema massage, electrical stimulation, TENS, ultrasound, and biofeedback preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Focused practice in hand therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation within an orthopedic outpatient clinic
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as full-time employees are not eligible to return as travelers, with no exceptions
- Orientation includes facility modules completed on the first day, averaging approximately 2 hours
