American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics position requiring 2 years of OB experience, ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications, with rotating day/night shifts in an acute care hospital setting.

• Acute care hospital OB unit with 4 beds
• Patient population includes labor & delivery and postpartum/nursery couplets
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for active labor, 1:3 for postpartum/nursery couplets
• EMR system: Epic; also uses Pyxis and OBIX
• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend required
• May float to Med-Surg if the OB unit is closed
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

• Active MN RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP — all must be active, no pending certifications
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum/Nursery experience required
• BSN not required
• Two professional references required: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor in the specialty within the last 3 years

• Provides care across labor & delivery and postpartum/nursery couplet settings
• Med-Surg float experience is preferred but not required
• Scrub color is nurse's preference
• Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a pay rate adjustment
• Travelers with previous employment at any Sanford Health location must disclose this history for consideration
