Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1 year of experience and ARRT(N) or CNMT certification (license required if applicable).
Details
- Nuclear Medicine department setting
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekends or call required
- Uses Siemens equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
- Facility is closed on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) but open the days before and after if they fall on a weekday
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required (license required if applicable)
- Experience drawing venous blood
- Proficiency with isolation precautions and PPE
- Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs
- Experience storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
- Lead experience required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Black scrubs required
- Must be clean-shaven to achieve a proper mask seal for respirator fit testing; no medical or religious exemptions accepted
- CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and candidates may not use personal CAPRs or PAPRs
- Local candidates within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted
