Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Salt Lake City, UT, requiring at least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience and current ARRT or NMTCB certification.
Details
- Nuclear Medicine department located within the Radiology floor of a main hospital building
- Unit is equipped with 2 Nuclear Medicine scanners and uses GE equipment
- Day shift team consists of 2 Nuclear Med techs, 1 EKG tech, and 1 student
- Common procedures include Myocardial Perfusion and Lung Perfusion studies
- Epic EMR is in use
- Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call rotation of 8 hours is required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required, with active experience within the past 6 months
- ARRT or NMTCB (NMT) certification required
- Current Utah State Registered Radiologic Technician license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging studies including Myocardial Perfusion and Lung Perfusion
- Gray scrubs are required
- This is a travel-only position — local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
