Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring CNMT or ARRT (N) certification and BLS.
Details
- Acute care setting in the Cardiovascular Testing/Nuclear Medicine unit
- General Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT duties
- Uses GE equipment including a Discovery IQ PET/CT scanner, SPECT Optima scanner, and 2 Discovery Gamma cameras
- Cerner EMR used
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week with flexibility to meet department needs
- On-call rotation required with 1-hour response time
- On-call coverage hours are Monday-Friday 4pm-7pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-2pm
- No weekend or floating requirements
Requirements
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required
- ISDOH certification required
- 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred
- PET/CT registration and/or experience preferred
- Y-90 Microsphere Therapy experience preferred
- License required if applicable

- Orientation available weekly
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Candidates living 50-100 miles from the facility may be subject to reduced pay rate
