Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience for an outpatient clinic position, performing a broad range of MRI examinations including cardiac and breast imaging.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting within the MRI department
- Primary schedule is 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday from 12:30 PM–9:00 PM; 4x10-hour (10:30 AM–9:00 PM) and 3x12-hour (8:30 AM–9:00 PM) schedules may also be considered
- Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM are required
- No on-call requirement
- May float between two outpatient clinic locations
- Charting via Epic
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
- Current BLS (AHA only) and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- Proficiency in general MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast MRI, and cardiac MRI
- A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the candidate's agency
- SSN and driver's license required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols across a range of patient populations for physician interpretation
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; approval is based on the unit's needs
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
- Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date
