American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry experience, working night shifts with a 1:7 patient ratio.

• Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• 36-hour weekly work commitment
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Med/Surg with telemetry (MS/Tele) and Med/Surg experience required
• Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract nurses are expected to support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
