American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift MS/Tele position at a hospital in Tennessee, with ortho/spine/med-surg patient population and a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio.

• MS/Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Ortho, spine, and general med/surg patient population
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:7
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other units is required
• 13-week contract

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a compact state currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 1 year of MS/Tele or Med/Surg RN experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
• Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years will be required for consideration
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility
