Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

- Performs diagnostic mammography procedures for radiologist interpretation
- Day shift schedule
- Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS systems is beneficial
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist
- State license required if applicable
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for the daily operations of the women's health mammography section, including QA, preventative maintenance scheduling, and regulatory compliance
- Maintains accurate patient records in EHR and ensures all necessary documentation is complete prior to submitting procedures for radiologist interpretation
- Adheres to FDA guidelines for the mammography section and ALARA radiation safety standards
- May assist in other imaging modalities and cross-training opportunities available in CT, MRI, and DEXA
- Assists with training and development of imaging staff in breast imaging specialties
- Holiday coverage may be required
