Description

American Traveler is hiring an LPN with long-term care experience for a 6-week evening shift assignment at a long-term care facility in Malone, NY.

Details

• Long-term care (LTC) facility setting
• Evening shift schedule, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Sunday scheduling with no block schedules permitted
• Minimum every other weekend required, with schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
• No on-call requirements
• Floating not required
• Charge nurse duties not required
• Two of four holidays must be covered: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day

Requirements

• Active LPN license required; NY license accepted with proof of pending licensure; VT license not required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience required
• LTC experience required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Must be able to cover CNA duties as needed
• Two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor required — at least one from the past 6 months and one from within the past year of employment
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 7-year background check, FACIS 3, and NY State check required
• Reliable personal transportation required — public transportation is not accessible in this area
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

Additional Information

• Interview to Offer (IVS) process — no formal interview required
• Complete work history required, including bed count, EMR used, and facility type
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted
• Pay rates are tiered based on distance from the facility: travel (101 miles), radius (51–100 miles), and local (50 miles or less)
• Religious or medical exemption documentation must be submitted if applicable
