American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2 years experience and a valid CA license to support cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.
Details- Work in the Interventional Radiology Lab supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses
- 4x10 hour day shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM
- Rotating schedule includes every 3rd weekend
- On-call as needed
- Setting includes diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, EP lab, hybrid OR, and interventional radiology/special procedures
- Any charting system experience accepted
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy Permit required
- CA state license required if applicable
- Proficiency in vascular access and central line care and maintenance
- Experience with a broad range of interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, TAVR, PCI, and IVC filter placement
- Experience with equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Siemens imaging systems, and PACS
- Ability to perform sterile scrub procedures and maintain infection control standards
- Provide technical support and patient care during interventional radiology and cardiac procedures under physician supervision
- May mentor and train students
- Responsibilities include acting as room circulator and maintaining sterile field during procedures
- Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety
- Accepts local candidates at local rate within a 50-mile radius
- Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
- Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
