American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with a minimum of 1 year of experience, including Level 1 trauma and ER settings, for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details- Exclusively assigned to the Emergency Room within a Level 1 trauma center supporting 30 ORs, 6 ICUs, a 70 bed ER, and approximately 700 inpatient beds
- Imaging procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, and chest/thorax
- OR and C-arm procedures performed as part of the role
- Equipment includes GE and Siemens imaging systems
- Cerner charting experience required
- 4x9 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility to work other days as needed
- Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- ER and Level 1 trauma experience required
- Experience with surgery/C-arm procedures required
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- IN state or Compact license required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Indiana residents are not eligible for this position as local candidates are not accepted for ER roles
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be approved automatically
- Current or former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break
